Summary

We are looking for a Sales Coordinator to join our
- opening team at Andaz Lisbon.

Expected to open in Q3 2025, Andaz Lisbon will offer guests an exciting new luxury lifestyle hotel in the Portuguese capital. It will be a key milestone in Hyatt’s brand growth in Southern Europe and will be the second Hyatt-branded hotel in Lisbon. Located in Lisbon’s bustling Baixa district along Rua Augusta, the hotel will comprise five buildings, including the former offices of Banco Português de Investimento (BPI). The hotel will feature 170 guestrooms and private suites, providing an authentic Lisbon experience in a central Urban Resort setting.

About the role

We seek a dynamic Sales Coordinator for the
- opening phase of Andaz Lisbon, reporting to the Director of Sales, who reports to the Director of Commercial Services.

Key Responsibilities:

• Negotiating, quoting, and contracting groups and events at the hotel.
• Managing all group bookings from inquiry to
  - departure, ensuring seamless communication and service.
• Liaising with internal departments (sales, F&B, front office, housekeeping) to meet group requirements.
• Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, travel agents, and corporate partners to encourage repeat business.
• Monitoring group performance and providing reports, contributing to revenue growth through upselling and strategic planning.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
• Experience: Proven 2 years of sales experience, preferably in hospitality.
• Skills: Excellent communication, negotiation, analytical skills, and a
  - focused attitude.
• Languages: Fluent in English and Portuguese; additional languages are a plus.
