Summary

We are looking for a Sales Coordinator to join our
- opening team at Andaz Lisbon. Expected to open in Q3 2025, Andaz Lisbon will offer guests an exciting new luxury lifestyle hotel in the Portuguese capital – and it will represent a key milestone in Hyatt’s continued brand growth in Southern Europe. Located in the center of Lisbon’s bustling Baixa district along Rua Augusta, the hotel will comprise five buildings, including the historic Banco Português de Investimento (BPI). The central building will feature 170 guestrooms, with surrounding satellite buildings offering various private suites. This Urban Resort will enable guests to fully experience authentic Lisbon.

About The Role

We seek a dynamic Sales Coordinator during the
- opening phase, reporting to the Director of Sales (who reports to the Director of Commercial Services).

Key Responsibilities:

• Negotiate, quote, and contract groups and events at the hotel.
• Manage all group bookings from inquiry to
  - departure, ensuring seamless communication and service.
• Coordinate with internal departments (sales, F&B, front office, housekeeping) to meet group requirements.
• Build and maintain relationships with clients, travel agents, and corporate partners to encourage repeat business.
• Monitor group performance, provide reports, and identify upselling opportunities for revenue growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field.
• Minimum 2 years of sales experience, preferably in hospitality.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills, strong analytical abilities,
  - focused attitude.
• Fluent in English and Portuguese; additional languages are a plus.
