We are looking for an enthusiastic Sales Development Manager to join our dynamic Adalvo team. This position offers an opportunity to

SUMMARY OF POSITION

The Sales Development Manager will be responsible for developing strategies and tactics to maximize the revenue and profitability of sales to
- value existing clients of Adalvo. Key to this will be building relationships, researching market trends and implementing plans. Sales Development Managers play an important role in nurturing a company's relationships with clients who bring in a significant portion of their profits.

ORGANISATIONAL STRUCTURE

This role will report directly to the VP Sales Development, Europe

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Act as a single point of contact for customers’ post contract signature
  • Develop and maintain excellent relationships with your customers
  • Validate Purchase Orders to confirm compliance to Agreement
  • Update customers on order status, typically
    - weekly
  • Point of contact for customer launches
  • Act as point of escalation for customer
  • Ensure Adalvo are maximizing the revenue and profitability of each customer / product by e. G. :
  • Optimising ordering patterns & MOQ’s
  • Challenging customers on poor performing products
  • Increasing prices where market justification exists
  • Assessing profit share data received

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS

This is a high profile and demanding role within Adalvo, and expectations are high for all team members. The ideal candidate would have the following:

  • Detailed market & industry knowledge specifically related to the role
  • At least 5 years of work experience in similar role within the Pharmaceutical industry, working with typical Adalvo customer base
  • Strong Pharma Supply Chain management experience
  • Ability to both nurture customers and to also have uncomfortable conversations to enhance Adalvo profitability.

  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
  • Problem-solving and negotiation aptitude
  • Ability to prioritize and meet critical deadlines
  • Familiar with working with a diverse cross functional team
  • Ability to travel regularly in Europe
  • Fluent English
  • University degree: (Bachelor or Master’s degree) in Business or Finance
  • Very good Computer Knowledge, especially on MS Office, SAP and Power BI
