Job Description Location: Lisbon or Porto (Hybrid – 3 days/week in office)
This role is all about sparking real conversations with real businesses. As a Sales Development Representative, you’ll connect with companies exploring Sage’s solutions, helping them understand how we can support their goals. You’ll be the first human touchpoint in the sales journey — playing a key role in building trust, qualifying needs, and setting the stage for
- term success. Native-level Portuguese and strong English are essential.
First 90 days
- 30 days: Learn our products, messaging, and tools. Join onboarding sessions and shadow team members.
- 60 days: Start managing inbound leads and conducting outreach with coaching support.
- 90 days: Take ownership of your prospecting pipeline, engage confidently with leads, and contribute qualified opportunities to the sales team.
You’ll be part of a collaborative Sales Development team that works

- first mindset. Expect regular feedback, support, and shared wins.
How success will be measured
- Number and quality of qualified opportunities passed to Sales
- Contribution to Annual Recurring Revenue (ARR) and new customer acquisition
- Effectiveness in using outreach tools and following sales processes
- Customer engagement and experience during initial contact
- A strong foundation in B2B sales and Saa

You’ll spend your time connecting with prospects via calls, emails, and Linked
In. You’ll ask smart questions, listen actively, and qualify needs — always with the goal of opening the door to a deeper commercial conversation.
Qualifications
- Native-level Portuguese and advanced English
- Comfortable speaking with new people and holding business conversations
- Curious, coachable, and eager to grow
- Target-driven, resilient, and motivated by results
- Experience with digital outreach tools and CRM systems is a plus
- Prior SDR or sales experience is welcome, but not essential
