Scope: Sales Engineer – Life Sciences Industry
We are looking for a Sales Engineer to join our team in Lisbon, responsible for leading all sales activities in Portugal within the Pharmaceutical and Life Sciences sector.
We seek a professional with strong technical-commercial skills, a solid understanding of GMP environments, engineering projects, and pharma manufacturing equipment, combined with the motivation to drive business growth in a highly regulated industry.
As a Sales Engineer, you will play a key role in identifying opportunities, developing client relationships, and promoting our GMP and engineering solutions. You will work closely with Life Science companies across Portugal, offering tailored solutions that meet the highest standards of quality and compliance.
This position is ideal for someone with both technical expertise and a commercial mindset, eager to make an impact in the Life Sciences field.

Functions:
- Lead and manage all sales activities in Portugal, focusing on GMP consultancy, engineering projects and pharma equipment.
- Develop and maintain
- term relationships with clients in the Life Science industry.
- Promote Business Development through market prospection, leads generation, understanding of customer needs and integration of solutions.
- Identify new business opportunities, prepare proposals, and negotiate contracts.
- Collaborate with internal engineering and consultancy teams to design and deliver customized client solutions.
- Represent the company at industry events and client meetings.
- Stay up to date on market trends, competitors and clients need to drive strategic sales growth.
Requirements:
- Degree in Engineering, Biotechnology, Pharmaceutical Sciences or similar.
- Experience in technical sales, business development, or project sales within the Pharmaceutical or Life Sciences sector.
- Proven track record in selling GMP services, engineering projects, or pharma manufacturing equipment.
- Fluent in English (written and spoken) and Spanish is a strong plus.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and
- building skills.
- Self-driven and
- oriented, capable of working independently with accountability for results.
- Availability to travel.
