Sales Engineer
Mission of the role
We are looking for a deeply technical and visionary Sales Engineer to join our team.
This role is critical in translating the product roadmap into actionable, scalable, and robust technical solutions for our users.
The ideal candidate will bridge the gap between the product vision and
- facing technical execution, ensuring that our products are both innovative and technically sound.
This role combines customer success, technical solution design, and business leads support.
You will collaborate closely with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure seamless adoption and operation of Obol’s distributed validator technology.
Areas of responsibility
- Pre-Sales & Onboarding
- Partner with Sales and Customer Success to support enterprise operators during
- sales conversations and onboarding. - Deliver technical presentations, demos, and

- concept engagements for potential partners. - Translate business requirements into technical architectures leveraging Obol’s distributed validator technology.
- Product & Integration Development
- Oversee the integration of our products into client systems, ensuring seamless implementation and a smooth user experience.
- Design and develop node operator tooling and developer experiences for efficient deployment and management of distributed validators (e. g. , Terraform, Helm, Kubernetes, Ansible, Docker).
- Lead the technical refinement of our Solidity-based products, ensuring seamless integration with existing Ethereum protocols and other blockchain technologies.
- Develop and maintain

- class onboarding flows and APIs for distributed validator clusters.
- Customer Success & Support
- Provide help on customer success calls, manage escalations, and ensure high service reliability.
- Provide L2 technical support for operators and community members, including active participation in Telegram/Discord groups.
- Solution Architecture & Frameworks
- Act as a solution architect, designing scalable onboarding frameworks, blueprints, and best practices for operators and partners.
- Develop documentation, playbooks, and training materials to enable
- grade integrations. - Ensure monitoring, reliability, and operational excellence through
- defined processes and tooling.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with Engineering, Product, and Dev
Rel to represent partner needs and influence product roadmaps. - Act as the voice of the customer internally, identifying gaps and proposing enhancements to improve the operator experience.
- Collaborate with Nick ( Business lead) Alan ( Technical CS Manager), and the leadership team to support Business Development initiatives and enterprise partnerships.
Technical Requirements
- Mandatory experience in blockchain technologies, with a deep understanding of Ethereum, Solidity smart contracts, and associated ecosystems
- Proficiency in designing and implementing solutions with modern Dev
Ops tools and methodologies (e. g. , Kubernetes, Terraform, Docker). - Proven experience in a solutions engineering, solutions architecture, or technical customer success role.
- Ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, actionable solutions
- Strong understanding of integration architecture patterns, API design, and middleware technologies.
- Preferred time zone: GMT-5 to GMT+3.
