- end itineraries and events for discerning international travelers and partners. We work with top travel advisors, agents, and luxury brands across the globe, designing experiences that go beyond the expected.
We are now looking for a Sales Manager to join our dynamic team and lead the development of our sales strategy.
Your Role
As Sales Manager, you will play a key role in shaping and executing our sales strategy. Reporting directly to the management team, you will:
• Design and implement the sales strategy in alignment with management, product, and operations.
• Develop, retain, and grow key accounts, nurturing strong relationships with top travel advisors, agencies, and partners.
• Identify and prospect new accounts in target markets (USA, UK, Europe, and beyond).
• Represent The Little Orange at roadshows, tradeshows, webinars, and sales calls – both in Portugal and abroad.
• Travel internationally (primarily in the USA, Europe, UK) to strengthen partnerships and open new opportunities.
• Analyze sales performance and monitor KPIs, reporting regularly to management.
• Use CRM and digital tools to ensure accurate tracking of sales activities and client engagement.
• Collaborate across teams (product & operations) to ensure a seamless client experience and coherent company strategy.
What We’re Looking For
We are seeking a proactive,
- oriented professional with:
• Proven experience in sales within the luxury travel industry (DMC, travel agency, tour operator, hotel).
• Strong knowledge of the US luxury travel market (other markets a plus).
• Familiarity with MICE (meetings, incentives, events) is highly valued.
• Excellent communication and
- building skills.
• Fluency in Portuguese and English; additional languages (French, Spanish) are a strong plus.
• Entrepreneurial mindset – independent, organized, not afraid to take ownership or to learn from failure.
• Strong analytical skills to monitor sales performance and KPIs.
• Tech-savvy, with CRM knowledge and comfort using digital tools.
• Interest or experience in using AI tools to enhance sales processes, market research, client engagement, or reporting.
• Ability to work with AI-driven platforms (e. g. , content generation, data insights, automation) and apply them to commercial initiatives.
• Awareness of data privacy and responsible use of AI in a business environment.
• Flexibility to travel frequently and represent the company abroad.
• Based in Lisbon or willing to relocate, with openness to a hybrid working model (mix of office and remote work).
