Sales Manager – Germany, Switzerland & Benelux
As a Sales Manager reporting to the Sales Director, you will drive new business development and build a robust sales pipeline across Germany, Switzerland, and the Benelux region. With a focus on the furniture and related manufacturing industries, your primary goal is to close strategic sales deals and implement our Value-Add Strategy. You will also manage key accounts, working flexibly from the office, home office, or customer sites.
Your responsibilities
- Lead the full sales cycle for 2020 ERP software: from prospecting and
- building to negotiating and closing deals. - Contribute to shaping and executing the regional sales strategy.
- Identify, approach, and establish strong relationships with C-level
- makers. - Prepare tailored proposals, develop pricing strategies, and negotiate contracts to secure sales.
- Manage sales activities and strategic account planning within your assigned territory to achieve and exceed sales targets.
- Maintain and grow relationships with key accounts to ensure
- term customer success.
What we expect from you
- Minimum 3 years of proven sales experience, preferably in
- related software or capital goods sales. - Industry knowledge, especially in the furniture sector, with strong familiarity of ERP and/or MES systems is highly advantageous.
- Ability to participate in business plan development and generate reliable sales forecasts.
- Demonstrated success in meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Strong capability to build and nurture relationships at the C-level and lead strategic initiatives with customers.
- Experience managing revenue and quota responsibilities in industry-specific solution sales.
- Advantageous: Experience selling value-added software solutions to manufacturers.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication (both verbal and written), and negotiation skills, especially with senior executives.
- Analytical mindset with strong
- solving abilities. - Willingness to travel regularly (60%+).
- Relevant business or technical degree, or equivalent professional experience.
- Motivation for continuous personal development and readiness to take on expanded responsibilities.
- Fluency in German and English; additional languages are a plus.
