Responsibilities
At Straumann Group, we recognize that a
- performing sales team is crucial for our growth. The Sales Representative (f/m/d) is responsible for achieving maximum sales growth and account penetration within an assigned territory or group of customers. The role involves promoting, selling, and securing orders from existing and prospective customers for Straumann’s portfolio. The ideal candidate should have a strong dental or consultative sales background, some commercial experience, excellent communication skills, and the ability to effectively showcase the Group’s offerings. Every potential customer is an opportunity to boost revenue, customer acquisition, and profitability. This position reports to the Area Sales Manager.
- Manage defined accounts' geography to grow existing business and convert new prospects remotely and

- face. - Plan and execute a Territory Activity plan based on potential in each account within a predefined geography.
- Use insights and a consultative selling approach to develop customers' business, challenge them to see new opportunities, and identify growth areas.
- Achieve quarterly and yearly sales targets for the territory.
- Utilize data and analytics to identify opportunities and risks.
- Educate customers on products to ensure clinical comfort with the portfolio via platforms like Zoom/Teams or within clinics.
Key Activities
- Identify, target, and convert prospect accounts with dentists, surgeons, and implantologists.
- Manage an assigned geographic sales area to maximize revenue and meet sales objectives.
- Provide excellent
- person attention and develop relationships with Key Opinion Leaders for future clinical education. - Participate in the implementation of new product launches and marketing initiatives.
- Attend regional and national trade shows and sales meetings.
- Negotiate prices and delivery times within authority limits and conclude sales orders to meet revenue targets.
- Research and contact prospective customers to build positive relationships for future sales and repeat business.

- term sales plans for key customers and accounts. - Establish and prioritize activities to meet sales targets.
- Engage in
- selling strategies. - Participate in
- functional groups in Portugal.
Required Capabilities, Skills, and Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in the dental business.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of sales experience, preferably in Pharma, Medical Devices, or Healthcare.
- Experience with dentists and dental labs is an advantage.
- Proficiency in consultative selling (B2B environment).
- High customer and business orientation.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Result-oriented with the ability to grow sales and customer base.
- Fluent in Portuguese.
- Valid driver’s license.
