Purpose of the position
The Sales Representative for the On-Trade channel is the face of the Company within the territory under responsibility and has the mission of guarantying the implementation of the promotional plan in order to develop growth in volume and value for our brands at the Point of Sale.
Responsibilities
:
- Visits the Clients and takes orders alone or with the distributors sales force;
- Is an expert of the territory, always aware of trends, new openings, events, using that information in order to prospect, segment and to conquer business and Clients within the area under his/her responsibility;
- Ensures the proper visibility of Pernod Ricard's Brands and guarantees the effectiveness of promotional activity namely through suggesting suitable locations, coordinating relevant partners (liaising with Mkt / Trade Mkt team) in alignment with sale's team from our distributors / strategic partners;
- Formalizes, implements and monitors agreements approved by KAM, implementing the visibility plan in the best locations in the most important point of sales;
- Provides training and to follow up our distributors / strategic partner's sales team and to deploy training to staff at the point of sales liaising with Marketing Team;
- Reports and informs on activity at the point of sales under their responsibility, about competitors activities risks and opportunities to develop our brands position at the point of sale
Profile
:
- Bachelor or Master's Degree in Management
- Previous professional experience in Sales within FMCG or Retail is a plus (at least 3 years), HORECA channel expertise is an advantage.
- Proficiency in Portuguese (mandatory) and English (preference)
- Good level of customer service and
- personal skills to create first class customer relationships; - Strong communication and negotiating skills;
- Prioritizing, time management and organization skills;
