This is an exciting opportunity where, as a Sales Representative SH you will provide to our customers the last innovation related to Structural Heart devices and help the Physicians in the TAVI and TPV (Transcatheter pulmonary valve) procedures, as well as the rest of
- clinical stakeholders in the purchase processes. You will also collect market intelligence data, follow, and report competition activities. For this remote position, the working territory is North of Portugal, and you will be preferably located in Porto or Coimbra. **Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:*** Provide technical support to physicians in the operating room and cath labs in the hospitals during the TAVI and other Structural Heart procedures* Promote and sell Medtronic's products and services within the assigned geographic area and/or specific customer accounts to meet or exceed sales targets* Advise referring physicians on company products, therapies, and services to optimize patient outcomes. While educate them on clinical evidence of defined therapies to demonstrate improved patient outcomes* Build strong and lasting relationships with key decision makers* Pursue leads, assess needs, and provide product services to maximize the benefits derived from Medtronic's products and/or services* Implement market development plans/strategies and changes as needed* Communicate customer feedback on new products and/or modifications to existing products or applications to internal stakeholders including R&D, Operations and Marketing. **Required Knowledge and Experience:*** University degree in
- science, engineering (biomedical engineering, electrical, IT, natural sciences), cardiopneumology or other relevant degree* Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in a sales role in healthcare/medical (device) industry, but it’s not a limitation* Fluent in English and Portuguese (reading, conversation, and writing)* Computer literacy is a must* Clean driver’s license; willingness to travel intensively (approx. 25%)* Willingness to work with physicians, nurses, and hospital technicians* Willingness to provide expert technical support in the operating room in the hospitals* Communication skills and motivation to build strong business relationship with customers* Teamwork, proactivity and focus on delivering results. Experience in cath lab procedures or Structural Heart therapies will be well valued, ability to manage multiple tasks with high degree of
