Job Summary
Deliver sales and strategic growth for Johnson & Johnson Med
Tech’s Surgical portfolio, primarily Wound Closure & Healing and Bio
Surgery devices. In this role you will be responsible for driving revenue, building customer relationships, and collaborating with cross‑functional teams to support product launches and commercial initiatives within the orthopaedics, surgical oncology, general surgery, neurosurgery, and related market segments.
Role Purpose
- Achieve agreed objectives and sales targets as outlined in the annual performance cycle.
- Interact and promote products to key customers and stakeholders.
- Prepare the launch of new products with territory mapping, stakeholder identification, and opportunity analysis.
- Contribute to new product launch success by identifying opportunities and leading product presentations.
- Work with Sales Manager and other colleagues to define commercial requirements to grow and protect our business.
- Ensure key insights from the external marketplace are shared internally to shape future business plans.
- Maintain competence in procedural focus area and product portfolio.
- Act as an ambassador for Johnson & Johnson Med
Tech aligned to our Credo.
Key Areas of Responsibility
Selling
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their specific needs and challenges.
- Utilize a Challenger approach to educate and challenge clients, presenting insights and data that help them recognize new business opportunities.
- Identify upselling and cross‑selling opportunities, aligning solutions with client needs.
- Conduct consultative presentations and product/service demonstrations, highlighting unique value propositions.
- Stay updated on market trends, competitors, and industry developments to provide relevant insights.
Teamwork
- Collaborate with marketing, support, and product teams to ensure a consistent, high‑quality customer experience.
Clinical Expertise
- Required to attend live patient cases/surgeries.
Essential Requirements
- A bachelor’s or master’s degree.
- More than 3 years of work experience within sales.
- Challenger mindset: enjoys challenging the status quo, with a strong ability to educate and influence clients.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Proactive with a results‑driven attitude.
- Analytical skills and ability to understand market data.
- Strong customer orientation and relationship‑building skills.
- Driver’s license.
