About the team: Our Global Commercial and Operation Technology team is located at Amgen Capability Center in Lisbon, Portugal (ACCP) and over 300 multinational and
- cultural employees work here, representing a broad range of cross functional capabilities, including Technology, AI&D, Commercial, General and Administrative and more. The Salesforce architect will be part of the Global Value and Access product team, designing solutions and developing Proofs of Concepts for critical business needs and processes. You will employ your deep knowledge of Salesforce to build products that your business partners enjoy using, improving efficiency, ensuring quality and scalability, and supporting collaboration processes throughout the enterprise. Our design and development of new functionalities and applications uses agile methodology (SAFe framework) and are guided by global guidelines.

Responsibilities
- Lead technical delivery
-
- end—concept, design, and execution—within tight timelines, including coordination across
- shore and
- shore teams. - Provide architectural guidance on application and integration best practices, enterprise standards, solution architecture & design, environment management, testing, and training.
 - Stay current on Salesforce releases and roadmap; assess impact and opportunities for our landscape.
 - Contribute beyond your lane—build relationships with product teams across the org and participate in our Community of Practice to share patterns and raise the bar.
 - Collaborate in plain language with technical and
- technical teammates, stakeholders, and vendors to define, build, and deliver solutions. 
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent experience/certifications.
 - Hands-on experience and certifications with Salesforce products (e. g. , Service Cloud, Commerce Cloud, Omni-Channel).
 - Comfort with Dev
Ops practices and tools (e. g. , Copado CI/CD, Git) and a solid branching/release mindset. - Experience leveraging AI with Salesforce (e. g. , Einstein/Agent force); familiarity with tools like Git
Hub Copilot or Chat
GPT for productivity. - Proven ability to design data models and build/maintain custom objects, and to integrate Salesforce with other systems (APIs/events/ETL).
 - Excellent communicator—able to translate between technical detail and straightforward business language.
 - Collaborative teammate with pragmatic
- solving skills and a
- centric attitude. - Strong attention to quality, testing, and documentation.
 - Experience delivering in Agile frameworks (Scrum, SAFe).
