Our Global Commercial and Operation Technology team is located at Amgen Capability Center in Lisbon, Portugal (ACCP) and includes over 300 multinational employees, representing a broad range of
- functional capabilities including Technology, AI&D, Commercial, General and Administrative and more.
Our team, Global Value and Access Technology, functions as a product team delivering product features in an agile manner with the SAFe framework, focusing on prioritized business needs.

The Software Engineer is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining applications and solutions that meet business needs, ensuring the availability and performance of critical systems. This role involves working closely with product managers and engineers to create
- quality, scalable software solutions, monitoring system health, and responding to incidents to minimize downtime.
You will be part of a product team focusing on Global Value & Access capabilities for pricing governance and brand planning, with Salesforce.com as core architecture.
We are looking for
- An
- round developer with extensive
- on experience with Salesforce products and who can oversee both business and technical processes and implementations. - Experience with integrations, automations and AI is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the design, development, and implementation of functionalities and enhancements across Salesforce applications
- Take ownership of development/configuration of user stories in collaboration with experienced engineers
- Create and maintain documentation and uphold quality standards
- Contribute to both
- end and
- end development tasks using Salesforce, with mentorship - Work with the team to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, escalating when needed
- Analyze requirements (functional and technical) and translate them into simple development tasks
- Support the execution of unit and integration tests, and contribute to maintaining software quality
- Assist with identifying and fixing minor bugs and defects during development or testing phases
- Learn to use CI/CD pipelines as part of Dev
Ops practices and assist in the release process
What we expect of you
- Master’s degree in Computer Science/IT or related field or equivalent experience
- Familiarity with at least one programming language (Apex, Java, SQL, or similar)
- Experience and certifications in Salesforce products (e. g. Service Cloud, Commerce Cloud, Omni
Channel) is a plus - Eagerness to learn and grow in a software development environment
- Ability to work well within a team and communicate effectively
- Analytical, troubleshooting skills, and proactive attitude
