The Commercial Systems unit oversees several areas across six engineering teams, working closely with other teams at Canonical. The services they design, develop, and operate are central to Canonical's business, with Salesforce playing an integral role.
The Salesforce team handles the development and configuration of Canonical's Salesforce instance. Their mission is to provide a
- class experience for Sales and business operations teams relying on Salesforce, while maintaining the highest engineering standards at Canonical.
We seek an engineering manager with
- level Salesforce experience, committed to engineering quality, continuous improvement, and skill development. This role offers the chance to lead change, implement the latest Salesforce features and best practices, and keep the Salesforce instance lean and maintainable.
Location: This role is remote within the EMEA region.
What your day will look like
- Lead a team of engineers delivering solutions on the Salesforce platform
- Seek improvements to processes, designs, and solutions
- Collaborate on business analysis and technical designs
- Provide Salesforce expertise to stakeholders and
- functional teams - Deliver engineering solutions leveraging Salesforce
What we are looking for in you
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science or related field
- Experience with Salesforce development and integrations
- Experience as a
- on engineering manager or team lead - Excellent communication skills in English
- Ability to work remotely with diverse teams, remaining motivated and organized
- Ability to travel internationally 2-4 times per year for about a week each time
Additional skills that you might also bring
- Experience as a software developer in Go or Python
- Experience in sales, finance, or operations roles
