Recruit 121 is looking for an experienced SAP ABAP Developer with strong expertise in SAP Human Resources (HR/HCM) modules to join our client's team.

In this role, you’ll be responsible for designing, developing, and supporting custom ABAP programs and enhancements within HR areas such as Personnel Administration (PA) , Organizational Management (OM) , Payroll , Time Management , and Benefits.

Duration : 6 months (+ possible extension)

Starting: ASAP (negotiable)

Location: Hybrid – Lisbon

Languages: English and Portuguese - Essential

Key Responsibilities:

✔ Develop, test, and maintain ABAP reports, enhancements, forms (Smart Forms, Adobe), and interfaces

✔ Collaborate with HR functional consultants to gather and translate business requirements

✔ Support integrations with payroll systems, time clocks, and
- party providers

✔ Work with HR info types, cluster tables, and logical databases (PNP, PCH)

✔ Debug technical issues and contribute to HR system upgrades and enhancements

✔ Ensure compliance with SAP best practices and GDPR/data privacy standards

Required Skills:

Solid ABAP programming experience in SAP HR/HCM

Knowledge of info types, cluster tables, payroll/time schemas

Familiarity with interface technologies (IDocs, BAPIs, RFCs, ALE)

Strong debugging and
- solving skills

Understanding of HR data privacy and GDPR regulations
