SAP Ariba Buy Consultant

We are seeking a SAP Ariba Buy Consultant to join our team to lead the
-
- end solution implementation and deployment of this platform for our organization. The ideal candidate will have good expertise in SAP Ariba Buying with a strong focus on procurement processes, Guided Buying, and integration with SAP ERP system. This role will involve leading design, implementation, optimizing procurement workflows and providing strategic guidance to enhance our procurement capabilities. .

Key Responsibilities

1. Solution Design and Development

- Lead the full lifecycle of SAP Ariba Buying/guided Buying implementation and deployment projects from requirements gathering, design workshop, blueprinting, configuration, testing, and
- live.

- Configure and deploy the SAP Ariba Buying module, including:

1- Buying and Guided Buying

2- Catalog management (static and
- out catalogs)

3- Procurement policies and compliance controls

4- Supplier collaboration on SAP Business network

- Design and implement custom workflows, approval processes, and forms using SAP Ariba tools.

- Develop and maintain
- based configurations for advanced scenarios like split accounting, taxation, and
- tier approvals.

- Ensure seamless integration between SAP Ariba Buying and backend SAP ERP systems

- Troubleshoot and resolve technical and functional issues related to the Ariba platform

2. Configuration and Customization

- Lead system configuration and customization of SAP ARIBA Buying/Guiding Buying.

- Develop and document functional specifications for system enhancements and interfaces.

- Ensure proper integration and data synchronization between ARIBA and ERP systems.

3. Testing and Go-Live Support

- Develop and execute test plans, scenarios, and scripts for unit testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing (UAT).

- Manage defect resolution and system enhancements during the testing phase.

Key Skills and Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.

1-Technical Expertise:

• Proven track record of successfully completing a minimum of 2-3 full lifecycle implementations covering SAP Ariba buying/guided buying modules in relation with SAP backends.
• 5+ years of experience in SAP Ariba with
  - on expertise in:

- Buying and Guided Buying modules.

- Ariba Network configuration and transaction document mapping (PO, invoices, GR, etc. ).

- Workflow and approval process design.

- Advanced catalog management and procurement configurations.

- Experience in SAP Cloud Integration Gateway (CIG) and Ariba APIs.

• Strong understanding of SAP Ariba integrations (CIG, APIs, ERP connectors).
• Proficient in debugging integration logs, analyzing payloads, and using tools like Postman for API testing.
• Good knowledge of ERP systems and integration tools: SAP ECC or S/4HANA (MM, SD, and FI modules) and middleware platforms (SAP CPI, PI/PO, BTP interface).

2- Functional Knowledge:

• Deep understanding of Source-to-Pay (S2P) and Procure-to-Pay (P2P) processes.
• Familiarity with global procurement regulations (e. g. , tax compliance, supplier onboarding, and data security).
• Experience in handling
  - country,
  - currency, and
  - lingual deployments.

3- Project Management and Leadership:

• Skilled in Agile and Waterfall methodologies with tools like JIRA.

4- Certifications (Preferred):

• SAP Certified Application Professional – SAP Ariba Buying and Invoicing.
• SAP Certified Technology Associate – SAP Integration Suite or similar certifications.

5- Others:

• Excellent analytical,
  - solving, and
  - thinking skills.
• Strong communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills, capable of engaging effectively with both technical and
  - technical audiences.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently in a
  - paced environment.

- Familiarity with SAP Solution Manager
