Eligibility: Only candidates based in Portugal. Fluent in English (C1+). 5+ years of experience.

Responsibilities

• Technical Development
  • Develop and enhance SAP PRC functionalities using ABAP and related technologies.
  • Implement custom features for specification management, compliance validation, and Safety Data Sheet (SDS) generation.
• Integration
  • Design and implement interfaces between SAP PRC and systems such as SAP ERP, PLM, and external regulatory content providers (IDS), including IMDS, CAMDS, and CDX.
  • Ensure seamless data exchange through IDocs, BAPIs, RFCs, and APIs.
• System Configuration
  • Configure compliance rules, data structures, and workflows within SAP PRC.
  • Support implementation of global regulatory requirements such as REACH, Ro
    HS, Conflict Minerals, EU POP, and others.
• Performance Optimization
  • Analyze and optimize system performance for
    - related processes.
• Testing & Documentation
  • Develop technical specifications, perform unit testing, and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
  • Create and maintain documentation for custom developments, configurations, and integrations.
• Collaboration
  • Work closely with functional consultants, business analysts, and compliance teams to translate business requirements into effective technical solutions.

Qualifications

• Years of Experience
  • 5+ years of proven experience as an SAP EHS PRC Developer.
• Functional Skills
  • Strong understanding of global material and substance compliance regulations (e. g. , REACH, Ro
    HS, Conflict Minerals, EU POP).
  • Knowledge of substance management and chemical classification.
  • Basic understanding of product lifecycle and supply chain compliance processes.
• Technical Skills
  • Strong ABAP development expertise, including
    - oriented programming.
  • Experience with SAP EHS(M) Product and REACH Compliance (PRC).
  • Familiarity with SAP S/4HANA environments.
  • Experience with integration technologies such as IDoc, BAPI, RFC, and Web Services.
  • Understanding of data structures related to compliance (e. g. , specifications, material master).
  • Experience with regulatory content integration.
  • Optional: Experience with SAP Workflow and BRF+ (Business Rule Framework).
