Note that this vacancy is Remote, but our candidates must be based in Portugal. We will not move forward with applicants based outside of Portugal.

Key Responsibilities

1. Business Process Analysis:

o Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand and document financial processes.

o Define
- state processes in alignment with S/4HANA best practices.

2. System Design and Configuration:

o Configure SAP FICO modules (FI - Financial Accounting and CO - Controlling) to support business needs.

o Design chart of accounts, fiscal year variants, and posting periods.

3. Integration:

o Ensure seamless integration of SAP FICO with other modules (e. G. , MM, SD, PP).

o Handle integrations with external systems like banks, tax software, or data warehouses.

4. Training and Documentation:

o Create user manuals and training material.

o Conduct
- user training sessions.

5. Post-Go-Live Support:

o Troubleshoot issues after the system goes live.

o Ensure the stabilization of FICO processes in the production environment.

Required Skills and Competencies

1. SAP S/4HANA Expertise:

o Deep knowledge of S/4HANA FICO.

o Familiarity with Fiori apps for finance (e. G. , Manage GL Account Master Data, Display Financial Statements).

2. FI Submodules:

o General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Asset Accounting (AA), and Bank Accounting.

3. CO Submodules:

o Cost Center Accounting, Profit Center Accounting, Internal Orders, Product Costing, and Profitability Analysis (CO-PA).

4. SAP Tools:

o Experience with SAP Activate Methodology for implementation.

o Proficiency in migration tools like LTMC or Migration Cockpit.

5. Soft Skills:

o Strong communication skills for interacting with stakeholders.

o Ability to manage project timelines and deliverables effectively.

Additional Considerations

- Certifications:

o SAP Certified Application Associate – SAP S/4HANA for Financial Accounting or Management Accounting is highly desirable.

o Certification in SAP Activate or related project management methodologies.

- Experience:

o Minimum 5–8 years in SAP FICO implementation, with at least 2 projects in an S/4HANA Greenfield environment.

o Industry-specific experience (e. G. , manufacturing, retail, or finance) can be advantageous.

- Regulatory Knowledge:

o Familiarity with tax regulations
