SAP HCM SUPPORT SPECIALIST and CONSULTANT (HYBRID)

Portugal-based company seeking a candidate for a hybrid role in Porto, Portugal. Minimum 3 years of experience in SAP HCM (PY, PA, PT) is required, with fluency in English (minimum C1) and French (minimum B2+).

About The Role

We are looking for a SAP HCM Functional Expert (Payroll/Time) to join a growing European Shared Services Center based in Porto. The position involves managing SAP payroll operations, maintaining system configurations, collaborating with HR, Accounting, and IT teams, and ensuring seamless HRIS integration and functionality.

Main Responsibilities for Support Specialist

• Provide functional and technical support for SAP HCM (Payroll and Time Management) operations.
• Oversee payroll operations, including planning, execution, accounting interface management, and DSN (Social Nominative Declaration) processes.
• Configure and maintain payroll cycles, rules, and calculation schemas in SAP HCM.
• Manage and optimize time administration rules and time evaluation processes.
• Supervise payroll accounting integration and validate calculation accuracy for social security benefits (IJSS) and social contributions.
• Participate in HRIS development projects, including the rollout of new entities and functionalities.
• Draft functional specifications, perform testing, and prepare documentation for ongoing improvements.
• Analyze SAP HR support packages and assess their impact on payroll and HR processes.
• Collaborate closely with HR, Accounting, IT teams, and external service providers to ensure system efficiency and compliance.

Technical Skills (Mandatory)

• Proven expertise in SAP HCM modules (PY, PA, PT).
• Strong command of payroll and time management schemas and cycles.
• In-depth knowledge of DSN and relevant regulatory requirements.
• Experience with payroll accounting integration and social contribution calculations.
• Familiarity with ABAP development related to payroll processes.
• Solid knowledge of SAP Time Management (PT) functionalities.

Nice to Have

• Experience with Cegid Talentsoft or similar HR systems.
• Exposure to SAP ECC 6. 0 environments.

Language Skills
