Senior SAP IBP Consultant (Hybrid)

Portuguese company hires for hybrid work. Location: Porto, Portugal. Working Model: Hybrid 2/3 times per week in Client (Porto). Language Requirements: Fluency in English (C1) / Portuguese (nice to have). Seniority: 5+ years or 10 years – two positions. Sector: Automotive.

1ª Position: SAP IBP CI/DS Consultant (Hybrid)

Overview: We are looking for an experienced SAP IBP CI/DS Consultant to join our team.

Responsibilities

• Configure and maintain integration scenarios between SAP IBP and other systems such as SAP ECC, S/4HANA, BW, and external data sources.
• Utilize SAP Cloud Integration (CI) and SAP Data Services (DS) to extract, transform, and load data efficiently.
• Gather and analyze business requirements, translating them into detailed functional specifications for data integration.
• Collaborate with IBP functional teams (Demand Planning, Supply Planning, Inventory Optimization) to ensure data alignment with business processes.
• Monitor and troubleshoot integration jobs, resolving errors and inconsistencies.
• Implement and maintain data validation and reconciliation mechanisms to ensure data accuracy.
• Prepare and maintain comprehensive functional and technical documentation for all integration scenarios.
• Contribute to the creation of operational and support manuals.
• Work closely with developers, architects, and system administrators to ensure system connectivity, performance, and security.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience as an SAP IBP CI/DS Consultant.
• Proven track record in SAP IBP integration projects with a strong focus on CI/DS.
• Solid knowledge of SAP Cloud Integration, SAP Data Services, SDI, ODP, SLT, CPI, and OData Services.
• Experience in data modeling and ETL strategies.

2ª Position: Senior SAP IBP Consultant – Hybrid Porto

Languages: Fluent Portuguese & English (mandatory). Seniority: 10+ years of experience.

Overview: We are looking for an experienced Senior SAP IBP Consultant to lead functional design, configuration, and implementation of Integrated Business Planning solutions. You will collaborate closely with cross‑functional teams to optimise planning processes across the supply chain.

Key Responsibilities

• Collect and analyse requirements from sales, logistics, production, and finance teams.
• Translate business needs into functional specifications for SAP IBP.
• Configure Planning Areas, Key Figures, Time Profiles, Planning Levels, Attributes, and Master Data Types.
• Implement planning algorithms and business rules.
• Collaborate with technical teams to integrate data using SAP CI/DS, ODP, SLT, CPI, etc.
• Validate master and transactional data using Excel Add‑In and Fiori apps.
• Define and execute functional and integration testing.
• Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
• Prepare training materials and deliver user training sessions.
• Provide post go‑live functional support.

Requirements

• Degree in Engineering, Management, Information Systems, or related field.
• 10+ years of experience in SAP IBP projects.
• Strong knowledge of IBP modules: Demand, Supply, Inventory, S&OP.
• Hands‑on experience with SAP IBP Excel Add‑In, Fiori, and Planning Area modelling.
• Fluency in Portuguese and English (mandatory).
