Overview

SAP Roles & Authorizations Specialist will work as part of the SAP Department’s Center of Excellence (Co
E) team in Lisbon, Portugal. The role is responsible for the analysis, configuration, migration, projects, and support of SAP solutions to meet the business requirements of MSC and its agencies worldwide, with a focus on security, confidentiality, and authorization following best practice guidelines in SAP landscapes.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Analyse and configure SAP roles and authorizations to ensure compliance with business requirements and security policies.
• Manage and support the migration of SAP roles and authorizations during system upgrades and implementations.
• Collaborate with various departments, including IT, marketing, and customer service, to ensure seamless integration and functionality of SAP solutions.
• Conduct user acceptance testing and provide training and support to SAP business users.
• Ensure efficient and timely approval of access across the SAP landscape; ensure all application modules are functional and secure. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to SAP roles and authorizations, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.
• Maintain detailed documentation of configuration, functional specifications, training, and other
  - related tasks during implementation.
• Monitor and resolve tickets/change requests for SAP roles and authorizations, including the creation and maintenance of Firefighter accounts, system users with specific profiles, and management of
  - related authorization urgencies.
• Work closely with Internal and External Auditors, Business Owners, and users at all levels. Identify process improvements and confirm audit compliance.
• Design and maintain the So
  D (Segregation of Duties) Matrix with controls to mitigate risks and implement user access reviews.
• Evaluate business risks associated with authorization and security design, implement appropriate controls, and provide recommendations to simplify and streamline security design.

Experience, Competencies and Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of SAP S/4HANA with a focus on roles and authorizations.
• Strong understanding of SAP security concepts and best practices.
• Experience with SAP configuration, master data management, and
  -
  - end integration testing.
• Team player with excellent interpersonal skills to work in a
  - cultural environment, both independently and with various teams.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
• Demonstrate strong oral and written communication skills with attention to detail, and be
  - focused to understand and respond to business needs.
• University degree in a relevant field, preferably in Engineering or Industrial Management.
• Fluency in English. Portuguese and Italian are considered an asset.
