SAP S/4HANA AIF Configuration Specialist

Requirements:

Description: We are seeking an experienced SAP professional to assist with the configuration and optimization of the Application Interface Framework (AIF) within the SAP S/4HANA RISE landscape. The ideal candidate will have hands‑on experience in setting up, configuring, and troubleshooting AIF interfaces, ensuring smooth data integration and message processing across the enterprise environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Configure and manage SAP AIF for various business interfaces in the S/4HANA RISE environment.
• Design, develop, and test AIF message structures, interfaces, and error‑handling frameworks.
• Collaborate with functional and technical teams to define and document integration requirements.
• Troubleshoot AIF‑related issues and optimize performance.
• Support the migration or enhancement of existing interfaces to align with S/4HANA standards.
• Provide knowledge transfer and documentation for internal support teams.

Required Skills & Experience

• Proven experience configuring SAP AIF (Application Interface Framework) in S/4HANA (preferably RISE).
• Strong understanding of IDocs, proxies, BAPIs, RFCs, and integration concepts.
• Experience with SAP PI/PO or SAP Integration Suite is a plus.
• Ability to diagnose and resolve AIF message processing errors and performance issues.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with business and technical stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications

• SAP S/4HANA certification.
• Prior experience in large‑scale SAP implementation or migration projects.
• Understanding of SAP Cloud Integration (SCI) or BTP.

Location: Lisbon, Braga, Coimbra hybrid
