SAP SENIOR TECHNICAL LEAD (HYBRID)

Portuguese company hires for hybrid work

Location:Lisbon / Portugal

Working Model: Hybrid 2/3 times per week in Client (Lisboa)

Language Requirements:English (fluent or native) / Portuguese and Spanish nice to have

We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Senior SAP Basis Consultant to join our team as a Technical Lead. In this role, you will be responsible for administering and maintaining SAP environments both
- premises and in the cloud, with a strong emphasis on RISE projects. You will leverage your solid technical expertise, strong analytical skills, and passion for technological innovation to drive
- quality, efficient, and secure solutions.

• Management and resolution of Technical Debt Backlogs.
• Creation and maintenance of Application Technical Documentation.
• Handling and execution of Infrastructure Change Requests.

Must-Have Qualifications /must be clearly listed on your CV:

• Degree in Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Proven ability to work collaboratively in global,
  - functional teams.
• Strong critical thinking and
  - solving abilities.
• Commitment to delivering
  - quality, reliable solutions.
• In-depth knowledge of application technologies and
  - on experience in their implementation.
• Experience in designing complex technical solutions.

SAP Expertise:

• Technical administration of SAP systems (ERP, S/4HANA).
• Cloud environment management (primarily RISE and AWS).
• Installation, upgrade, and migration of SAP systems.
• Performance monitoring, tuning, and troubleshooting.
• SAP transport management and authorization administration.
• Close collaboration with functional and technical teams to ensure system stability and performance.
• Participation in digital transformation projects, including migrations to S/4HANA and the cloud.
• Support for audits, ensuring compliance with security and regulatory standards.

Nice to Have

• Knowledge of the Energy & Utilities sector and GDPR.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies, Jira, and Confluence.
• Additional language skills: Portuguese, Spanish.
