Your role

Are you interested in working on technical solutions and ensuring the optimal technical performance of applications? Do you want to manage applications in the cloud and collaborate with different teams and partners?

This global position is for our SAP Technical Solution Architect at CEVA Logistics.

This position is open in Spain (Barcelona/Madrid) and Portugal (Lisbon).

What are you going to do?

• You participate in technical projects aimed at improving or replacing existing systems.
• You assist in managing our service providers and application partners and provide them with support.
• You work closely with the "infrastructure and operations" teams, solution managers, our partner supporting our applications, the service provider, and the various technical teams of solution providers.
• You provide support to the Business Solution Manager.
• You propose innovative technical solutions and ensure the optimal technical performance of applications (scalability, maintainability, operability, reusability, cost, etc. ).
• You produce, control, and manage the technical documentation related to the delivered solutions.
• You pay particular attention to the common objectives of the IT department: obsolescence management, digitalization, application renewals, etc.
• You report to the Technical Solution Manager of the domain.

What are we looking for?

• You have experience in a similar role.
• You have SAP BASIS expertise (SAP ECC6 & S4 is a plus).
• You have proficiency in SAP architecture (Net
  Weaver, ABAP & Java stacks).
• You have experience with various operating systems (Windows, Linux, Unix) and databases (HANA, Oracle, SQL Server).
• You have Shell Scripting skills essential for task automation under Linux.
• You have technical management experience of applications in the Cloud: from application design to run mode implementation.
• You can explain complex technical concepts clearly to
  - specialists.
• Knowledge that would be a plus: SAP BTP, Azure Cloud, Digitalization, Artificial Intelligence, WS & API, Data Lake & Business Intelligence.
• You have experience in Solution Management / Transport Management / Management of roles and authorizations.
• You have the ability to manage complex systems, adaptability, good interpersonal skills, and teamwork.
• Fluency in English is mandatory.
