SATA FX Sales and Trading Assistant
Key Activities
- Ensure all Booking queries are addressed and escalated to the Marketer/Trader where appropriate
- Ensure all trades are confirmed to the relevant Client on Trade Date
- Ensure all Client Static Data is kept up to date – by passing any new or updated information to the Static Data / New
Funds / On-boarding or SSI teams; or by performing ad‑hoc reconciliations of our records against those of the Client - Act as an intermediary between the Marketers and all Operational areas of the Bank
- Help on the onboarding process for the Prime Brokerage Clients
- Assist front office in deal capture and post trade events management on barrier triggers, option exercise, novations and early terminations
- Capture, retrieve & maintain rates from official sources and upload them into internal systems for vector calculations and NDF fixings
- Execute daily controls to mitigate risks
- Work in close collaboration with the onshore (London) team
Qualifications & Skills
- Academic background in Mathematics, Finance, Economics or similar areas
- Interest in Financial Markets (with focus on FX)
- Fluency in English
- A structured, methodical and organized approach to work
- Good team spirit, ability to work alone and with others
- Proactive and capacity to deliver results with precision and rigorousness
- Good time management and organizational skills
About The Team
The Trader and Sales Assistant team aims to accompany the continuous enhancement of the quality of service provided to our clients, notably post‑trade services. Its role is to support traders and sales in their daily tasks (pre‑trade to post‑trade processes), in the most timely and efficient manner. The trading and Sales assistant team is the key contact for external clients but also for other BNPP functions.
