Automa is expanding internationally, and we’re looking for talented professionals to join our team in Portugal!

If you’re passionate about technology, experienced with SCADA systems, and eager to work on global energy projects, this is your chance to become one of our driving forces!

Your mission will be to:

Develop SCADA applications using the Elipse platform (E3 or Power);

Translate operational needs into functional solutions for our team and clients;

Integrate field devices such as PLCs, RTUs, and IEDs;

Design intuitive,
- performance HMIs for operators;

Perform acceptance tests (FAT/SAT) ensuring reliable solutions.

Mandatory requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Control & Automation Engineering, Computer Science, or related fields;

Proven experience in SCADA system development;

Knowledge of protocols: OPC, Modbus, DNP3, MMS, Goose, IEC 60870-5-104;

Fluent English (used for communication with clients and international projects);

EU citizenship or valid EU work permit;

Strong analytical skills and continuous improvement mindset;

Excellent communication and collaboration skills with technical teams and clients.

Nice-to-have qualifications:

Knowledge of VBScript, XML, and control logic;

Hands-on experience with SCADA systems, especially Elipse (E3 or Power);

Experience with Elipse Plant Manager (EPM);

Familiarity with the energy sector and its regulations;

Experience with control architectures in substations or control centers;

Skills in Excel/VBA and relational databases (SQL, Oracle);

Understanding of networking and communication infrastructure.
