Offer Description

Objectives

• Understand how merchandising is a tool for institutional and science communication by analysing the community's relationship with the Store.
• Understand and improve the best strategies for organising science communication and institutional communication activities at an engineering school; by studying and adapting the programme and its implementation to the size and scope of each event.

Work Plan

• Collaboration in the management of the Técnico Store, namely in stock management, customer service, implementation of new products and development of strategies for external relations.
• Organisation and management of institutional and community events, from conception to implementation, as well as impact measurement.
• Collaboration in the implementation of Técnico's communication strategies, namely the dissemination of science or institutional communication, with a special focus on events and shop products.
• Collaboration in other projects within the scope of the Communication, Image and Marketing Unit.

Skills/Qualifications

Admission Requirements

• Be enrolled in a bachelor's degree, integrated master's degree or master's degree.
• Pre- or
  - graduate training in Communication Sciences, Engineering or related fields.
• Ability to work in a team, autonomy, flexibility and a high sense of responsibility.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills in Portuguese and English.
• Good interpersonal skills, ideally with experience in event organisation, public relations and shop management or organisation, merchandising and similar.
• Very good computer skills from a user's perspective, with experience in using Microsoft Excel and POS sales systems being an advantage.

Selection process

• Contest Evaluation Method(s):
• Curricular evaluation weighted 40% on a scale of 200 points with a minimum of 140 points needed for admission.
• Individual interview weighted 60% on a scale of 200 points with a minimum of 140 points needed for admission.
• The minimum final grade needed for admission is 140 points.
• Curriculum assessment comprises the Curriculum Vitae and a Letter of Motivation. For curriculum evaluation, the requested documentation should be sent to candidaturas. acim@tecnico. ulisboa. pt with the competition notice number in the subject line.
• Composition of the Selection Jury: Jury President - Joana Lobo Antunes; Jury Members - Pedro Filipe Garvão Pereira and Silvio Fernando Leal Mendes; Substitute Jury Members - Raquel Hüttel Heleno Úria and Anabela Teresa Da Mota Gonçalves.
