About The Job

• The Valuation Analyst position in Lisbon focuses on daily valuations critical for clients (NAV calculation for Asset Managers, decision making for fast money) and for the bank’s risk management via collateral, serving as basis for prices on secondary trades.
• Though not involved in pricing client RFQs, the role requires ad‑hoc decision making that directly impacts BNPP’s P&N. It demands synthesis and optimization capabilities.

Your Main Activities

• Provide clients with high‑quality, accurate valuations.
• Take ownership of the valuation chain and its impact on secondary trades.
• Address valuation requests from client service, sales, or collateral management.
• Conduct deep dives into specific valuations to supply performance analysis.
• Participate actively in the development and scalability of the platform to improve client satisfaction through quality, speed, and accuracy.

Profile and Skills for Success

• Master’s degree in Finance or related field.
• Knowledge of Python.
• Advanced English.
