About The Job

• The Valuation Analyst position in Lisbon focuses on dealing with daily valuations which are not only a crucial element for our clients (from NAV calculation for Asset Managers to
  - making for fast money) and for the bank’s risk management (via collateral) but are also the basis for prices on secondary trades
• Although the Valuation Analyst role isn’t about pricing clients’ requests for quote (RFQ), it involves a type of
  - hoc
  - making that directly impacts BNPP’s PNL; at the same the role demands synthesis and optimization capabilities

Our Main Activities

• Provide clients with high quality, accurate valuations
• Take ownership of the valuation chain including its impact on secondary trades
• Address requests pertaining to valuations, from client service, sales or collateral management
• Be able to take
  - dives into specific valuations to provide performance analysis.
• Actively participates to the development and scalability of the platform in order to improve client satisfaction by enhancing the quality, speed and accuracy of valuations

Profile and Skills

• Master's degree in Finance or similar
• Knowledge in Python
• Advanced English is mandatory

About the Team

• Within the GECD (Global Equities & Commodity Derivatives) department, SCOPE Trading (Secondary Client Offer & Post trade) is a global team in charge of providing a market on secondary trades on exotic products and facilitating various aspects of BNP Paribas’s secondary market, in particular providing our clients with the most accurate daily valuations on the entire range of products (flow and exotics) traded with them, as well as supporting them with performance explanations on their trades
