This person will be instrumental in enabling the delivery of
- quality digital products. You will work closely with Product teams and the organization to ensure the delivery of products regularly, repeatedly, and predictably. Your role will bridge traditional business practices with agile methodologies, playing a key role in the transformative journey towards agile maturity.
Key Responsibilities:
Agile Advocacy: Champion and facilitate the adoption of Agile practices within the Product Team, guiding them towards effective
- organisation and continuous improvement.
Process Facilitation: Lead agile ceremonies, utilize agile tools (Jira, Confluence, Miro), and generate insightful reports to support
- making and process optimisation.
Impediment Removal: Proactively identify and resolve blockers, fostering a productive and harmonious team environment.
Operational Efficiency: Ensure seamless integration of team operations within the PMI ecosystem, optimising the use of agile tools and practices.
Best Practices Coaching: Elevate the team's performance by imparting best practices in agile methodology and product backlog management.
Communication & Collaboration: Enhance team and stakeholder communication, ensuring transparency and effective dissemination of information.
Community Engagement: Actively participate in Communities of Practice (Co
Ps), sharing insights and collaborating on agile best practices.
Skills & Competencies:
Strong agile mindset and a proactive approach to
- solving.
Proficient in agile frameworks (SAFe, Scrum, Kanban) with a deep understanding of servant leadership, facilitation, and conflict resolution.
Ability to understand and respect individual team member's strengths, preferences, and cultural backgrounds.
Analytical thinker with a keen interest in the product ecosystem.
Demonstrates a commitment to lifelong learning and actively seeks out opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge.
Excellent communication and mentoring skills, with the ability to adapt to change and maintain effectiveness in a dynamic environment.
Demonstrated resilience and focus, capable of effective planning and risk management in product development.
Experience & Qualifications:
At least five years in project delivery roles, including significant experience as a Scrum Master or Agile Project Manager.
Proven track record in a Scrum Master role (min. 2 years), with experience in SAFe or other scaled agile frameworks being highly desirable.
University / Post Graduate (Masters Degree), a technical field is preferred.
Essential: First-level Scrum Master certification (e. g. , CSM, PSM I, PMI-ACP).
Desirable: Advanced Scrum Master certification (e. g. , PSM II, A-CSM, SSM) and familiarity with Management 3. 0, KMP, ICP-ATF, ICP-ACC.
Proficient in various agile tools and frameworks, such as Kanban, Design Thinking, metrics and team event facilitation.
Basic understanding of agile delivery methods, including CI/CD, Extreme Programming (XP), TDD and BDD.
Knowledge in IT budgeting and Business Case preparation.
Strong command of English, both written and spoken.
