Overview

Scrum Master for Multinational Fintech Company — Join emagine to support the creation of a center of excellence for a leading multinational fintech company.

Responsibilities

• Support the Product Owner for effective product backlog management and understand product planning to maximize delivery of value
• Identify and proactively remove impediments (technical, organizational or people related)
• Act as an internal coach to the team, helping them become fully agile,
  - organized and perform at their best
• Facilitate Scrum ceremonies and artifacts
• Promote Agile practices related to software engineering: automated testing techniques, continuous integration & continuous deployment,
  - driven development
• Track and communicate metrics (e. g. , velocity vs productivity)
• Maintain and utilize tools such as Jira/Confluence
• Provide strong communication, analysis and listening skills
• Support development experience and software craftsmanship
• Ensure English proficiency of the team and stakeholders at C1 level

Qualifications

• Minimum of +5 years of experience as a Scrum Master, Agile Coach or Agile Delivery Lead
• Scrum Master certification
• Strong understanding of Agile principles & frameworks (Scrum, XP, Kanban)
• Agile Estimating & Planning
• Experience with Scrum ceremonies and artifacts
• Experience with Agile practices related to software engineering as listed above
• English proficiency at least C1

Nice to have

• Great team spirit, proactive, independent, pleasant attitude, openness and curiosity to learn
• Experience in software development (valued)

Additional information

• The candidate must have at least one higher education degree
• Must have been living in Portugal for at least 1. 5 years
• Location: Lisbon
• CV must be in English
• Work model: 4 days/week in the office in Lisbon for the first 3 months; after that, 3 days/week in the office and 2 days remote
• Work schedule: 12 additional compensation days during fixed holiday periods; Winter (Oct–May): 43 hours/week; Summer (Jun–Sep): 39 hours/week
