Location: Porto, Portugal

We are searching for an experienced Scrum Master to join a fast‑paced and innovative environment within the automotive tech sector. This role is ideal for someone who thrives on strengthening agile practices, guiding teams through transformation, and enabling collaboration across distributed environments.
Responsibilities
- Establish and reinforce agile practices for teams with limited Scrum experience.
- Facilitate and adapt agile ceremonies (planning, stand‑ups, reviews, retrospectives) to project‑focused or domain‑oriented structures.
- Coach and mentor team members and leaders on agile mindset, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Support backlog management, prioritization, and scope alignment—even in non‑product setups.
- Identify and remove impediments, including cross‑team or organizational blockers.
- Provide visibility on progress, risks, and performance using agile metrics and dashboards.
- Promote alignment, transparency, and trust across distributed teams.
- Foster a culture of reflection, learning, and continuous improvement.
Required Experience
- 5+ years of hands‑on experience as a Scrum Master.
Functional Skills (Mandatory)
- Strong understanding of Scrum and Kanban, and ability to apply both flexibly in hybrid or non‑product environments.
- Proven experience supporting distributed or mixed teams during agile adoption.
- Ability to align priorities across business, IT, and technical teams.
- Skilled in facilitation, conflict resolution, and cross‑team coordination.
- Experience implementing agile performance structures (velocity, burndown, WIP).
- Ability to drive cultural change and increase agile maturity across organizations.
Technical Skills (Mandatory)
- Proficiency with Jira and Azure Dev
Ops, including board configuration, dashboards, reports, and workflows. - Understanding of agile delivery metrics and their application in distributed teams.
- Experience with agile scaling models or hybrid delivery frameworks is a plus.
Soft Skills
- Excellent communication and facilitation skills across cultures and organizational levels.
- Pragmatic, hands‑on approach to introducing and maintaining agile ways of working.
- Strong intercultural competence and ability to build trust among distributed teams.
- Passionate about empowering team success through collaboration.
Certifications
- Agile/Scrum certifications (CSM, PSM, PMI‑ACP, or equivalent).
