Scrum Master
Responsibilities
- Establish agile practices and provide guidance to teams with limited Scrum experience.
- Facilitate and adapt agile ceremonies (planning, stand‑ups, reviews, retrospectives) to project‑ and domain‑oriented structures.
- Coach and mentor team members and leads on agile principles, mindset, and collaboration.
- Support backlog management, prioritization, and scope alignment even in non‑product setups.
- Identify and remove impediments, including organizational or communication barriers between teams.
- Create visibility on progress, risks, and performance using agile metrics and dashboards.
- Promote alignment, transparency, and trust across distributed teams.
- Encourage a culture of reflection, learning, and continuous improvement.
Years of Experience
- 5+ years of proven experience as a Scrum Master.
Functional Skills
- Strong understanding of agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban) and ability to apply them flexibly in hybrid or non‑product environments.
- Proven experience in guiding mixed or distributed teams through agile adoption.
- Ability to connect and align priorities between business stakeholders, IT, and Tech teams.
- Skilled in facilitation, conflict resolution, and cross‑team coordination.
- Experience implementing agile performance and reporting structures (velocity, burndown, WIP).
- Capability to drive cultural change and build agile maturity across organizations.
Technical Skills
- Proficiency in Jira and Azure Dev
Ops (board configuration, reporting, dashboards, workflows). - Understanding of agile delivery metrics and their use for steering distributed teams.
- Experience with agile scaling or hybrid delivery models is a plus.
Soft Skills
- Excellent communication and facilitation skills across cultural and organizational boundaries.
- Pragmatic, hands‑on approach to introducing agile ways of working.
- Strong intercultural competence and ability to build trust between teams.
- Passionate about enabling team success through collaboration.
Languages
- Fluency in English (mandatory).
Desired Certifications
- Agile/Scrum related certifications.
