Sea Logistics Sales is tasked with driving new business growth, with a strong emphasis on small and
- sized enterprise (SME) customers. They possess comprehensive,
-
- date knowledge of specific trade lanes, including geographic scope, available service offerings (such as sailings, transit times, and reliability),
- specific documentation regulations, local standards, operational procedures, and the types of goods or commodities typically transported on those routes.
Their role is predominantly
- facing, with a focus on identifying and securing new business opportunities. They collaborate closely with Customer Care personnel to ensure seamless service for shared accounts.
Sea Logistics Sales professionals also make pricing decisions in alignment with the Customer Care Manager, while adhering to guidance from Trade Management and Pricing teams. They act as account owners, directly managing a personal portfolio of sales accounts.
How you create impact
- Drive new business development with a strong emphasis on small and
- sized enterprise (SME) customers. - Make pricing decisions in close alignment with Customer Care Managers, based on strategic recommendations.
- Prepare and submit competitive quotations using digital tools, ensuring timely and tailored proposals.
- Showcase deep expertise in Sea Logistics products and
- lane dynamics through customer interactions and presentations. - Monitor and analyze the competitive landscape to stay informed on pricing trends and market offerings.
- Collaborate with the Customer Care Team to onboard new customers smoothly and provide complete,
- quality handover documentation (Customer Promise/CCL form). - Ensure customer information is accurately maintained in Core
LOG and perform related CRM activities. - Actively manage and grow your customer portfolio, regularly reviewing accounts with CCL Managers and Customer Care to close new business successfully.
What we would like you to bring
- 2–5 years of
- on experience in Sea Logistics, with a solid understanding of the industry’s operations and trade dynamics. - 2–5 years in Customer Management, delivering service excellence and fostering
- term client relationships. - Proven strengths in communication,
- focused problem solving, adaptability, time management, and a positive,
- oriented approach. - Agile mindset with a strong inclination toward continuous improvement, resilience, and embracing change.
- Native Portuguese speaker with fluency in English, enabling seamless communication across diverse markets.
- Strong leadership qualities, consistently demonstrating drive and commitment to personal and business goals.
- A true team player, actively fostering collaboration and building cohesive partnerships across functions.
- Results-driven, with a keen focus on identifying opportunities and delivering effective, tailored solutions.
