GLCA is looking for an experienced teacher to teach 3 classes of English Language Arts as well as high school speech 1 semester every two years.

GLCA has combined grades in a classroom. Grades 7 and 8 are combined. Grades 9 and 10, and Grades 11 and 12 are also combined. The ELA Teacher will teach writing, grammar, and literature for Grade 7-12. If needed, the ELA teacher may also be asked to oversee a study hall or help with a schoolwide project.

• Fluency in written and spoken English
• A strong sense of teamwork and willingness to work in collaborative relationships with other teachers
• A desire to build relationships with students
• Experience teaching is preferred

TYPE OF POSITION: Full-time (35+ hrs/week)

MONTHLY SUPPORT ESTIMATE FOR ONE PERSON: $2000/MONTH
