What You'll Do
As a Sector Coordinator within Travel, Cities and Infrastructure (TCI) Practice Area (PA) you will execute and coordinate business operational support for PA tasks both regionally and globally. Working with PA Sector Senior Manager, Sector leader and Practice Area Leadership, you will support Sector Senior Manager in coordinating Sector and PA operational activities such as business reporting, pipeline monitoring, topic activation, and marketing and communication efforts. You will also coordinate people affiliation and development activities as well as the organization and execution of internal practice meetings and trainings whilst acting as a point of contact for PA members across the PA. You will also be responsible for the tracking and coordination of our CRM, Alumni data and senior advisor cohort.
You will independently coordinate the plan and preparation of Sector meetings, seeking guidance as needed, from invitation management through to agenda coordination, tracking and logistical support as well as expense and budget management. You will prepare newsletters reaching out to relevant Practice Area Partners and Leaders. You will regularly maintain dashboards and carry out ad hoc financial reporting and as well as managing PA case openings, interviews, vignettes, proposals and credential collections.
More specifically, activities will include but are not limited to:
- Reporting:
Facilitate reporting on sector’s business performance, lead flow and proposal pipeline, topic activation - Affiliation:
Track sector’s affiliation with Practice Area Partners and Leaders, prepare key presentations for sector meetings and calls, and contribute to internal sector communication newsletters engaging with Practice Area Partners and Leaders - Marketing:
Work with the Practice's marketing team and topic activation KT to facilitate marketing activities, e. G. , publications, external communication, alumni outreach, SATT events, and distilling and elevating CRM’s insights
What You'll Bring
- 2-4+ years relevant experience
- Bachelor’s degree
- Demonstrated independence and autonomy in internal/external interactions
- Ability to execute defined tasks that require independent judgment, based on processes/policies
- Ability to effectively coordinate day today work;
apply working knowledgeof primary function and demonstrating the ability to solve problems within own role - Strong organizational and planning skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to think analytically, adopting out the box thinking
- Professional, service oriented,
- active and flexible attitude - Ability to perform under pressure and demonstrate presence and maturity even in stressful situations
- Proficiency in Outlook, Power
Point, and Excel

Who You'll Work With
You will coordinate closely with Global Sector Senior Manager, the Global Practice Management Director, Sector Leaders, as well as the Business Services team, alongside Practice Area Coordinators both within the practice and across others

The Travel, Cities and Infrastructure (TCI) PA focuses on Infrastructure, travel, transportation, cities, real estate and logistics which form a significant and very dynamic part of the global economy. Massive amounts of public and private capital are flowing into physical infrastructure upgrades as well as sweeping changes driven by digitization and the climate transition. Very significant public and private entities exist in this space with bold ambitions over the coming decade. The PA covers a range of sectors including Transport, Travel & Leisure;
Cities, Real Estate & Tourism and Logistic, Postal & Shipping;
we also work very closely with our Public Sector and PIPE Practice Areas. These topics also have
- reaching effects in areas such as climate resilience, holistic livability, sustainable mobility and equality. Within this role you will specifically support the TTL sector that focuses travel distribution, airlines, transport infrastructure (airports, roads and railways) and Leisure (hotels, cruise lines, theme parks and casinos).
