As part of our Technology Office, you’ll work closely with
- functional teams and report directly to our Lead of Cloud Engineering & IT Security, playing a key role in shaping a secure and resilient tech foundation for our digital bank.
Your Impact
Secure and harden our cloud infrastructure (GCP) using tools like Terraform and CI/CD pipelines
Work closely with engineering and Dev
Ops teams to embed security into infrastructure, application design, and delivery pipelines
Operate and enhance our security monitoring systems, including Microsoft Sentinel (SIEM) and Netskope (DLP/endpoint)
Conduct external attack surface analysis, including DNS/public endpoint scanning
Support and respond to security audits, insurance assessments, and regulatory reviews
Define and implement detection rules, alerting workflows, and triage procedures
Rehearse and improve incident response, disaster recovery, and business continuity plans
Stay ahead of threats and vulnerabilities, and apply practical fixes
What makes you a great fit?
5+ years in a
- on security engineering role, ideally in
- native or fintech environments
Strong knowledge of GCP, Terraform, CI/CD, and container security
Experience operating SIEM tools (Sentinel, Splunk) and endpoint protection platforms (e. g. , Netskope, Crowd
Strike, etc. )
Ability to code and automate security tooling and processes
Familiarity with network protocols, web security, and vulnerability management
Comfortable working
- functionally with developers, infra, auditors, and leadership
Native or bilingual proficiency in English, German language of great advantage
Strong interpersonal skills, sensitivity and understanding of
- cultural complexities
Self-driven but still a team player and who thrives in a challenging role where a
- capacity level is necessary
Critical thinking skills and the ability to solve problems as they arise and ability to work under pressure
