Security Engineer (DevSecOps)

Overview

Join wire IT as a Security Engineer (Dev
Sec
Ops) based in Portugal. Wire IT is a 18‑year‑old IT consulting partner that empowers clients with agile, people‑centered solutions.

Role

Location: 100% Remote, Portugal.

Required Skills

• At least 3 years of hands‑on experience in security, Dev
  Ops, or SRE.
• Design secure and resilient systems from the ground up.
• Familiar with cloud automation tools such as Open
  Tofu/Terraform and the AWS CDK.
• Knowledgeable in SIEM and data collection (Elastic
  Search/Open
  Search, etc. ).
• Comfortable with AWS security services (GCP is a plus).
  
  
• Understand computer networking (DNS, TCP/IP, HTTPS, etc. ).
• Good knowledge of Linux operating system.
• Basic knowledge of Windows and mac
  OS operating systems.
• Proficient with scripting languages (Python, Bash, etc. ) and eager to learn software engineering practices.
