We are looking for a Security Engineer to join our client, a reference group in the insurance sector.

Main tasks and responsibilities

• Review and evaluate information assets currently integrated in the SOC service.
• Review existing use cases and documentation.
• Plan and integrate additional information assets to improve security and maximize the reach of the SOC service.
• Propose and develop SOC services, use cases, or playbooks to identify and respond to threats and incidents.
• Support the development of new use cases by collaborating with the SOC global service and technical teams.
• Enhance event analysis, log management, automation, and monitoring.
• Screen security incidents reported by the SOC or internal users, providing analysis and response.
• Guide SOC Level 1 and 2 analysts in handling alerts and incidents, coordinating with the security operations team.
• Analyze and report insights related to suspicious activities or cybersecurity incidents impacting business processes or reputation.

Requirements

• Degree in Computer Engineering or a related field is valued.
• 2 to 5 years of experience in a similar role.
• Experience with Microsoft Azure Sentinel or Splunk.
• Good communication, influence, and
  - making skills.
• Ability to adapt to different contexts and interlocutors.
• Strong analytical and
  - solving skills.
• Fluent in English, written and spoken.
