Position: SEN Teacher (Special Educational Needs)

We are seeking a dedicated and empathetic
- time SEN teacher to join our primary support team. This role involves:

• Direct support for two primary students : Working with children aged 7-10 years with diverse special educational needs
• In-class support : Collaborative intervention alongside class teachers to promote inclusion
• Differentiated strategies : Developing and implementing tailored learning approaches and accommodations
• Progress monitoring : Regular assessment and adaptation of support strategies
• Communication with families and specialists : Coordination with parents, school psychologists, therapists, and the wider educational team

Schedule and Conditions

• Monday to Friday, 08:45 to 16:45
• Up to 25 contact hours per week (individual support, small group sessions, and
  - class collaboration), plus up to 10 hours per week for assessment, reporting, meetings, and administrative tasks
• Daily meal provided by the school

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Special Education, Educational Psychology, or related field
• Specialization/Postgraduate qualification in Special Educational Needs (preferred)
• Proven experience supporting students with SEN in a school setting
• Excellent command of English; knowledge of Portuguese is an advantage
• Knowledge of differentiated teaching methodologies, pedagogical assessment, and inclusive digital tools
• Collaborative working ability, empathy, creativity, and resilience
