Our Finance & Administration Business Line is looking for a Senior Accountant (IRL Market), who will have the following responsibilities:

Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with IFRS.
Assist with
- end and
- end close processes, including reconciliations and journal entries.
Maintain general ledger integrity and ensure accurate recording of financial transactions.
Support external audits by preparing relevant documentation and responding to auditor inquiries.
Ensure compliance with tax regulations (VAT, RCT, payroll taxes, corporate tax) and assist with tax filings.

Accounts Payable (AP):

Ensure proper accounts payable cycle, ensuring timely and accurate processing of invoices and payments proposals.
Manage vendor relationships, resolving discrepancies, and ensuring compliance with agreed payment terms.
Reconcile supplier statements and resolve any outstanding issues as is for analysis “Goods receipt/Invoice Receipt”.
Monitor and improve the efficiency of AP processes, identifying opportunities for automation and optimization in line with the actual organization.
Assist in cash flow forecasting by providing insights into upcoming payables.

Accounts Receivable (AR):

Ensure that invoices are prepared and sent to customers in a timely and accurate manner, based on sales orders and contracts;
Monitor customer accounts to ensure that payments are correctly applied and received in a timely fashion.

Other Financial & Operational Duties:

Support the implementation of financial controls and process improvements.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure finance best practices are followed, as well external stakeholders meaning tax consultants.
Maintain proper documentation and
- keeping for compliance and audit purposes.

QUALIFICATIONS:

The ideal candidate will have/ be:
