Our Finance & Administration Business Line is seeking a Senior Accountant. The key responsibilities include:

1. Preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with IFRS.
2. Assisting with
   - end and
   - end closing processes, including reconciliations and journal entries.
3. Maintaining general ledger integrity and ensuring accurate recording of financial transactions.
4. Controlling
   - company flows and performing necessary validations monthly.
5. Liaising with other departments to ensure smooth process and business integration.
6. Supporting other teams in proper accounting and tax procedures.
7. Assisting with account analysis such as Goods receipt/Invoices receipt.
8. Issuing customer invoices and monitoring customer accounts.
9. Maintaining fixed asset data.
10. Supporting external audits by preparing documentation and responding to auditor inquiries.
11. Preparing and filing tax returns (VAT, CIT, WHT) in accordance with Portuguese tax laws.
12. Preparing and submitting statistical reports (INE, Intrastat).

Qualifications:

• Degree in Accounting, Economics, or related finance field.
• Minimum of 5 years of accounting experience.
• Knowledge of accounting standards, preferably IFRS.
• International experience is a plus.
• Good understanding of Portuguese tax laws.
• Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel and Word.
