As a Senior Accountant the responsibility is to maintain the financial integrity of the organization. This position requires a deep understanding of accounting principles, strong analytical skills, and experience in handling advanced accounting tasks. The Senior Accountant is responsible for accurate and timely financial reporting, supporting the month‑end and year‑end close processes, and assisting with strategic financial planning.

Tasks

• Oversee all aspects of general ledger accounting
• Manage complex account reconciliations and financial close processes
• Prepare and analyse financial statements and reports
• Contribute to budget preparation, forecasting, and variance analysis
• Propose the development and implementation of accounting policies and procedures
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax laws, and regulations
• Support internal and external audit processes
• Provide financial analysis and recommendations to management
• Oversee cash management and treasury functions
• Supervise and mentor accounting staff
• Collaborate with other departments on financial matters

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field; master’s degree preferred
• 5-8 years of progressive accounting experience
• In-depth knowledge of GAAP, IFRS, and financial reporting requirements
• Excellent leadership and team management abilities
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills
• Ability to communicate complex financial information to non‑financial stakeholders
• Adaptability to changing regulatory environments and business needs
• Excellent written and verbal communications skills in English essentialh essential
