Base pay range

Sword Health provides compensation ranges upfront; actual pay is based on skills and experience. Further details are discussed with your recruiter.

What you’ll be doing

• Prepare and record accounting entries according to the deadlines of the group and US GAAP rules;
• Support
  - end and
  - end close processes;
• Prepare and participate in external audit requests;
• Develop process and technical documentation;
• Play an integral role in the development, implementation and maintenance of the financial accounting systems;
• Provide management and their teams with meaningful, accurate and timely financial information and reports as requested;
• Effectively present information and respond to questions from Management and
  - functional teams;
• Participate in the interim and annual audits for the Group;
• Perform other accounting and controller duties and support junior staff as required or assigned

What you need to have

• University degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting or any related field;
• Working experience +4 years;
• Fluent in English (written and spoken);
• Experience with
  - end/year end close processes in complex
  - national and
  - currency frameworks;
• Independent handling of a variety of tasks with different levels of complexity and organising work efficiently;
• Good communication skills, able to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders;
• Endurance and flexibility when facing problems;
• Taking ownership of assigned responsibilities, including
  - study/research needed to execute the same;
• Very high attention to detail; organized and thorough with a desire for continuous improvement and to improve
  - points;
• Curious, enthusiastic, proactive, strong team player.

What we would love to see

• Comfort with Finance and Accounting principles (local GAAP, US/IFRS will be a plus) and good financial statement analysis ability;
• Interest in building a career in accounting or finance within a
  - paced environment;
• Experience with accounting, R2R and ERP tools (e. g. Net
  Suite, NAV, SAP, Primavera, etc. ).
