Job Description

We are looking for experienced Senior Accounting Auditors to join a
- level finance control team in Lisbon, supporting a global financial institution.

• Oversee implementation and monitoring of the Group Accounting Control Plan
• Build strong partnerships with regional finance teams and ensure control compliance
• Perform LOD2 controls, assess deficiencies, and report findings to Senior Management
• Support the accounting certification process across multiple regions/entities
• Monitor audit recommendations and follow up on operational risk incidents
• Organize and participate in Internal Control Committees (FORCC) and contribute to AFRi
  C
• Ensure proper rollout of other control frameworks and compliance with IFRS standards

Work Environment

• Work schedule: Full‑time
• Remote work: Twice per week at client’s premises

Required Profile

You have several years of proven experience in the audit and internal control field. You are passionate about financial governance and risk management and have initial experience in the auditing profession in the Banking industry.

• Proven expertise in accounting controls, internal audit, or finance risk management
• Excellent English communication skills

Desired Experience

• Audit background (preferably from Big 4 or similar)
• Solid experience in financial services and strong knowledge of IFRS
• Proven expertise in accounting controls, internal audit, or finance risk management
• Strong analytical thinking and organizational abilities

Recruitment Process

2. An HR interview with the recruitment officer and a business engineer
3. Optional meeting with a technical ambassador or technical test
4. Final meeting with the Consort operations manager and/or the manager responsible for the role
