? We are looking for a motivated professional at the Associate or Senior Associate level.
With a background in audit or financial control, ideally with experience in financial services and knowledge of IFRS standards. This role focuses on ensuring strong accounting controls, supporting regional finance teams, and contributing to internal risk and control frameworks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop a solid understanding of accounting control processes in the regions/entities under your scope.
- Build strong and transparent relationships with regional finance and control stakeholders.
- Ensure accounting control plans are properly implemented and monitored.
- Conduct oversight reviews and assess control deficiencies.
- Ensure compliance with internal accounting procedures and frameworks.
- Perform
- line controls over central finance teams. - Review accounting certification processes from regions/entities.
- Analyze and report accounting issues and associated action plans.
- Follow up on internal/external audit recommendations and regulatory findings.
- Monitor operational risk incidents impacting finance and ensure proper remediation.
- Organize regular internal control committee meetings.
- Contribute to internal reporting on accounting and financial control topics.
Requirements:
- Experience in audit, financial control, or finance (preferably within the financial or banking sector).
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and IFRS standards.
- Solid organizational and communication skills.
- Analytical mindset and attention to detail.
- Fluent in English.
