We’re looking for an Accounting Manager and Acting Controller who loves building durable processes, and making smart,
- backed calls that improve the bottom line. You’ll architect the
-
- cash and
-
- pay motions, automate the stack (Stripe, QBO, Deel), and turn messy inputs into crisp,
- ready financials and KPIs. Partner

- hand with leadership to stand up our GL,
- end close, revenue recognition (ASC 606), cash forecasting, and controls—so the company can scale with confidence.

Key Objectives

Stand up and own the GL (QBO); design a Saa
S-appropriate chart of accounts.

Run a reliable
- end close (target ≤10 business days): reconciliations, accruals/reclasses, variance analysis.

Translate MSAs/SOWs/order forms into billing rules and revenue schedules (ASC 606); manage deferred revenue.

Oversee invoicing, collections (reduce DSO), and
- ready revenue documentation.

Implement
-
- pay: AP automation, expense policy, Delegation of Authority, vendor onboarding.

Build a 13-week cash forecast, budget vs. actuals, and a monthly KPI pack (ARR/MRR, gross margin, NRR/churn, CAC, LTV, payback, runway).

Research and document basics of sales tax for digital services and other compliance items; coordinate with external tax advisors.

Wire up the finance stack: Stripe ↔ GL, Deel, QBO etc. . .

What you’ll bring

4–8+ years
- on accounting (startup/Saa
S/IT preferred) owning GL, AR/AP, and monthly close.

Working GAAP knowledge and eagerness to master ASC 606; can read contracts and propose billing + journal entries.

Systems mindset with experience implementing QBO and automation across billing, AP, spend and payroll.

Advanced Excel; strong documentation and communication.
