About The Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join Emma and our Accounting team.

You'll ensure the accuracy and integrity of our group financials while mentoring a dynamic and collaborative team of General Ledgers, working closely with our Director of Accounting. You'll have the chance to influence strategy and enhance processes in a multicultural environment.

Positioned at the core of our Finance Team, you'll directly impact Emma's growth.

Please note: This role will be based in our Frankfurt Headquarters, and it's a great opportunity if you are looking for an experience abroad or relocating to a new city.

What you´ll do:

• Lead and oversee the group's financial accounting to ensure timely and accurate reporting in compliance with IFRS.
• Manage and coordinate the consolidation of financial statements for 25+ entities, including P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow statements
• Mentor and lead a team of accountants, promoting a culture of continuous learning and improvement (Team of 6 in Frankfurt + more in our other offices).
• Work closely with other finance teams to ensure the accuracy and completeness of financial data.
• Develop, implement, and enhance internal controls and accounting policies
• Streamline accounting processes and systems, optimizing the use of our ERP
• Coordinate audit schedules, liaise with external auditors, and assist with tax and regulatory compliance
• Drive

  - hoc financial analyses and projects (in cooperation with our Controlling team)
• Be a proactive member of our entrepreneurial culture by sharing your financial leadership and

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in group accounting, with at least 2 years in a leadership role
• A sound knowledge base of IFRS
• Excellent leadership skills with a proven track record of developing teams
• A strategic mindset with strong analytical and organizational skills
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
• A team player with a "can-do" attitude, embracing our "one team, one dream" philosophy
• Proficiency in MS Business Central is a plus
• A master's degree or CPA is a plus
• Fluency in German is a plus.
