Your role at Hostinger
Are you a pro at using AI for content creation and editing? Do you enjoy experimenting with prompts and tools to craft the best possible content? If so, we’d love you to join Hostinger’s content team as our remote AI Content Editor. In this hands‑on role, you’ll:
- Fire up LLMs and other AI tools with clever prompts to generate draft content at scale.
- Collaborate with our human writers on more research‑driven pieces, weaving their insights into AI‑generated drafts.
- Take responsibility for final quality control; polishing and fact‑checking every piece to ensure it’s clear, on‑brand, and ready for publication.
You’ll be at the forefront of how we integrate AI into content marketing, working closely with our writers, SEO specialists, and other editors in a fast‑paced, collaborative environment. You’ll help set the bar for quality while demonstrating what’s possible when human expertise and AI technology collaborate.
Your day‑to‑day
- AI‑driven content creation: Trigger and manage AI‑driven content workflows to produce high‑quality, SEO‑friendly articles and other content at scale. Develop effective LLM prompts to generate content outlines and first drafts aligned with our content strategy.
- Editing & quality assurance: Review, proofread, and edit AI‑generated content to ensure grammatical accuracy, proper tone, clarity, and factual correctness. Polish each piece so that it meets our brand voice and quality standards, with no “sendbacks” needed – you are the final pair of eyes before publishing.
- Prompt optimization: Continuously refine and improve AI generation prompts and templates to enhance the relevance and quality of the AI’s output.
- SEO: Apply SEO best practices to all content to maximize search visibility. This includes optimizing keywords, headlines, meta descriptions, and internal linking.
- Editorial guidelines & consistency: Develop and maintain editorial guidelines and style standards for AI‑generated content. Train our AI tools (and educate content team members) on the desired voice, tone, and style. Ensure that content across all levels (automated, semi‑automated, custom) feels cohesive and authentic to our brand.
- Publishing & CMS management: Trigger automated publishing pipelines and ensure timely publication schedules for all content. Ensure posts are correctly formatted with appropriate headings, links, images, and SEO metadata.
- Innovation & research: Stay up to date with the latest developments in AI content creation, LLM capabilities, and content marketing trends. Explore new tools or techniques that could improve efficiency or content quality. Bring creative ideas to the table on how we can further integrate AI into our content operations to gain a competitive advantage.
Your Skills And Experience
- Experience: 3+ years in content editing, copywriting, and content production, preferably in tech, Saa
S, or digital marketing. - AI & LLM proficiency: Hands‑on experience with generative AI tools and large language models (e. g. , Chat
GPT, Gemini Gems, etc. ). - Advanced prompt engineering skills to guide AI in producing high‑quality content, and the ability to troubleshoot or iterate on prompts for better results. Familiarity with AI content detection and optimization techniques is beneficial.
- Content editing skills: Excellent writing and editing abilities with a keen eye for detail.
- Strong understanding of narrative flow and clarity.
- SEO knowledge: Solid understanding of SEO principles and best practices for content.
- CMS and publishing: Proficiency with content management systems like Word
Press. - Domain knowledge: Familiarity with the web hosting industry, Word
Press, and related tech is a plus. - Adaptability: Demonstrated ability to adapt quickly to new tools, technologies, and content styles.
- Communication & collaboration: Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
- Independence & ownership: Self‑motivated and able to run with a project with minimal supervision.
